Existing Facility Layouts
All to often we lose site of the value of a Current Facility Layout. As time passes the layout becomes antiquated, rendering it near useless as preparations are being made for re-design of the production lines, manufacturing areas, common areas and office space.
Production Design Associates provides mapping of existing conditions. Utilizing state-of-the-art technology, the completed layout provides the necessary information to determine whether a leaner work flow can increase production or if an expansion is necessary. The layout also provides an accurate picture of necessary production space verses department creep. The layout will include visible utilities and office space.
New or Re-designed Facility Layouts
Once the new or existing facility layout is completed or updated, space usage and product flow are evaluated in conjunction with management and staff in order to develop the new facility layout. Utilizing best practices and the necessary tools from the Lean Toolbox, Production Design Associates will then provide a completed, re-designed lean flow layout.
